LETTER FROM YOUR PRESIDENT

Firstly I must say how delighted I am to be your President for the year 2025-26 indoor season. I will endeavour to make you proud. Unfortunately I didn't get off to a very good start with that by having an accident at Banister Park and breaking my wrist!!  Let's hope I'm back on the green in 2026.

I plan to attend (and hope to play) in as many Friendlies as possible, and would encourage all you ladies out there who have not yet played in a County Friendly to do so.  They are what it says - friendly. It's a good day out, with some good bowling and enables you to meet like-minded ladies from other clubs that you wouldn't otherwise meet.

My Charity for the year is the Ark Cancer Charity. This is a Basingstoke based charity concerned with the welfare of people dealing with Cancer treatments and post treatment.

I wish you luck in all of your competitions, especially the County ones and look forward to welcoming you to Loddon Vale for the finals weekend 28th/29th March 2026. Even if you are not in a final, just come to support your Club mates who are, and watch some good bowling.

I look forward to meeting as many of you as possible on the green.
